To treat partial-onset seizures, Pregabalin tablets are recommended in a variety of dosages; however, the most popular first dose is 75 mg twice daily or 50 mg three times daily. Depending on the patient's response and tolerance, the dosage may be adjusted up to the maximum recommended daily dosage of 600 mg. Common adverse effects include dizziness, somnolence (drowsiness), and peripheral edema (swelling in the limbs). Despite their rarity, allergic reactions and emotional or behavioral abnormalities may have detrimental consequences.
